Yellow to me is...

The National Geographic Channel had a contest entitled "Yellow to me...". This is a contest wherein you send a photograph, along with an essay of what yellow means to you.

I took some pictures of lanterns, or parol, and sent them to NGC along with a cheesy essay.
I know I won't win. But hey, I found something fun to do. It's also funny how I never noticed the color yellow before. All I see is green, blue and pink.

Darn. Now I have that photography fever.

So surreal...

Away from the hustle and bustle of Manila, I found tranquility in the small island of Bohol.

The white powdery shore, the clear blue sea and the pleasant sky creates a place so detached from the world.
Along the shore, tall coconut trees swing in unison, as if dancing with the wind. The indigo sea and the clear blue sky, separated only by a thin and indistinct line of the horizon, seemed to blend perfectly into each other. The picturesque scene will undoubtedly captivate anyone.

In this isolated little paradise, you can relax in the silence with all the time in the world. Enjoy the serenity of nature in all its original splendour while the cool sea breeze gently caresses your face. Afar from the activity of other beaches where no one rests, Bohol, no doubt, the ideal place for a relaxing escape.

Byebye... Hope you enjoy lounging around on the beach

I left my beloved watch at the beach in Bohol a few days ago. I left it under the shirt with my phone and camera on the shore when we went swimming. When we picked our stuff back and went to the hotel, I only picked up the shirt, camera and phone.

I wish I didn't take it off. It was water resistant anyway. I wish I put it in the camera case. I would have done so many things to prevent this incident.

Anyway, it was too late when I found out that my watch was missing. It was on the third day. I left the watch on the first day.

My watch haunted me yesterday in a dream. It was just a scene, wherein the watch was still on my wrist. I still can't help thinking about that watch. I searched more than 10 malls in Texas to find that particular watch.

I got a replacement watch, but everytime you ask the time, it replies "It's shnuggle time!". It's definitely better, but I need a watch that actually tells the time.

Byebye Fossil... I hope you enjoy your stay there. You will definitely be missed.

One of my greatest fears...

I had a dream last night, and it considerably affected me. It was one of my greatest fears. It may sound petty, but I'm scared of being cheated on.
The dream wasn't really that long. In fact, I only remember a scene. It was my Ozzie with someone. I knew right then (in my dream) he had replaced me.
I know my Ozzie really won't cheat on me... but the dream made such a large impact.

Oh, how true...

The Moods of a Woman

An angel of truth and a dream of fiction,
A woman is a bundle of contradiction,
She’s afraid of a wasp, will scream at a mouse,
But will tackle a stranger alone in the house.
Sour as vinegar, sweet as a rose,
She’ll kiss you one minute, then turn up her nose,
She’ll win you in rage, enchant you in silk,
She’ll be stronger than brandy, milder than milk,
At times she’ll be vengeful, merry and sad,
She’ll hate you like poison, and love you like mad.

The Moods of a Man

Hungry.
Horny.
Sleepy.

Grrrrr....

I'm annoyed!!

Of all the resorts to choose from, we chose the one with the ugliest website and the resort with no swimming pool!

Ozzie and I are going to Bohol this weekend for a nice happy trip. Imagine the sea, the Loboc river cruise, Chocolate hills, the Tarsiers.... but after all that... where to? There's no freaking swimming pool or jacuzzi!

It didn't really bother me until Ozzie said "I hope there's a swimming pool."

Geez!! I never really checked it out before we made the reservations. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!

Haaay... I'll just make myself feel better... We're not there for the pool anyway. We're going there for the beach. :)

EDIT:
Yaaaaaaaay!!! I just found out from virtualtourist.com that there is actually a swimming pool at Alona Kew. Great! Happy! I'm so excited. 3 more days!
